What is the Event Programme & Location?
Afro Escape 2026 will take place in Durrës, Albania, across two nearby event areas.
All official Afro Escape events start at 5:00 PM daily and finish at 12:00 Midnight. An official after-party will take place each night, with the location announced during the event.

Can I receive a refund because I can no longer attend?
No. Afro Escape tickets and hotel bookings are non-refundable if you can no longer attend due to work, illness, family circumstances, travel costs, flight changes, visa issues, personal reasons or any other change in your circumstances.
If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to find your own buyer for your booking. Once you have found a buyer, you may request an official ticket transfer before the transfer deadline.
All ticket transfers must be completed through the official Afro Escape team and are subject to a £20 administration fee. The transfer is only valid once it has been approved by Afro Escape and the new ticket details have been issued.
Please note that both the event ticket and any hotel booking are non-refundable.
Can I book a HOTEL through Afro Escape?
Yes. Afro Escape has partnered with Bonita Classic Hotel and Dolce Vita Hotel as our Official Hotel Partners.
Our hotel packages combine your Afro Escape event ticket with bed & breakfast accommodation, making planning your trip simple and convenient.
Both hotels are located approximately a one-minute walk from the main event area, so you can easily walk to and from all the official Afro Escape events.

Bonita Deluxe Room
- Single Occupancy: £130 per room, per night (1 guest)
- Double Occupancy: £150 per room, per night (2 guests)
Dolce Vita Standard Room
- Single Occupancy: £110 per room, per night (1 guest)
- Double Occupancy: £130 per room, per night (2 guests)
Breakfast is included with all room bookings.
Important Information
Our hotel partners operate on a resort-style occupancy system, meaning rooms are booked according to the number of guests staying.
- A Single Occupancy room is for one guest only.
- A Double Occupancy room is for two guests sharing the same room.
- If two people are travelling together, a Double Occupancy room must be booked. Two guests cannot stay in a room booked as Single Occupancy.
When booking through Afro Escape, your package includes:

Please note that hotel rates are charged per room, per night, while the Afro Escape event ticket is charged per person.
I'm travelling alone. Can I still attend Afro Escape?
Absolutely! Many guests attend Afro Escape on their own and have an amazing time.
Our Solo Traveller Package includes a Single Occupancy Room, one Afro Escape event ticket, and daily breakfast, giving you your own private room throughout your stay.
If you're travelling alone but would like to meet other guests before the event, we recommend joining the official Afro Escape WhatsApp Community, where you can connect with fellow attendees, ask questions and stay up to date with the latest event information.
Whether you're coming alone or with friends, you'll be part of the Afro Escape experience from the moment you arrive.
Can I choose who I share a room with?
Yes. If you book a Double Occupancy Package, you will share the room with the person you book with.
When purchasing a Double Occupancy Package, you will be asked to provide both guests' names. Two Afro Escape event tickets will be issued—one in your name and one in your guest's name. Both guests will also be registered to share the same hotel room, which includes breakfast for both guests.
If you and your friend are booking separately but would like to share a room, please contact the Afro Escape team before booking or as soon as possible after placing your order. We will do our best to arrange this with our hotel partners, subject to availability.
Afro Escape will not assign another guest to share your room unless you have specifically requested it.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. You can spread the cost of your booking by paying in instalments through Klarna or PayPal, subject to eligibility and approval by the payment provider.
The available instalment options will be displayed at checkout. Any payment agreement is between you and Klarna or PayPal, and their terms and conditions will apply.
What happens if the name on my ticket does not match my identification?
Entry may be delayed or refused.
Contact Afro Escape before travelling if your name needs to be corrected or your ticket needs to be transferred.
Do I need a VISA to travel to Albania?
Visa requirements depend on your nationality, passport and country of residence. It is your responsibility to check whether you need a visa before booking your trip.
Are UK residents visa-free?
Many UK residents can travel to Albania without a visa, depending on their nationality, passport and UK immigration status. However, visa requirements vary from person to person.
We strongly recommend checking the latest official entry requirements before booking your trip to ensure they apply to your individual circumstances.
Can Afro Escape advise me if I need a visa?
Unfortunately, no. Afro Escape cannot provide immigration or visa advice because every guest's circumstances are different.
We recommend checking the official visa requirements that apply to your passport and residence status before booking your ticket, flights or accommodation.
Can Afro Escape help with my visa application?
Once you have purchased your ticket, we may be able to provide an event confirmation or booking confirmation if required as part of your visa application. However, the decision to issue a visa is made solely by the relevant embassy or immigration authorities.
What happens if my visa is refused?
Afro Escape event tickets and hotel bookings are non-refundable if your visa application is refused, delayed or not approved in time for the event.
For this reason, we strongly recommend checking your visa requirements before purchasing your ticket and making any travel bookings.
Where can I check if I need a visa?
You should always check the official Albanian government website or contact your nearest Albanian Embassy or Consulate for the most up-to-date visa requirements before travelling.
Airport Travel Information
The nearest airport is Tirana International Airport (TIA).
From the airport, Afro Escape in Durrës is approximately a 30-minute drive. A taxi typically costs between €30 and €35, although prices may vary depending on the time of day and the taxi provider.
We recommend booking your accommodation until Monday, as the final official event takes place on Sunday evening.
All official Afro Escape events run from 5:00 PM to 12:00 Midnight. An official after-party will also take place each night, with the location announced to guests during the event.
Can I book a table?
Yes. A limited number of tables will be available for each event.
A table costs £50 and guarantees a reserved seating area for up to six people. The table booking does not include any drinks, bottles or bar credit.
If you are attending as a group, only one person needs to purchase the Ticket + Table Booking option. The other members of the group can purchase either a Ticket Only option or a Ticket with Accommodation option.
The drinks menu will be available on the day of the event. Guests with a reserved table can then purchase bottles and other drinks directly from the bar.
Please note that the £50 payment is only for the guaranteed table and seating area.
Can I book any apartment?
Yes. Guests can arrange their own accommodation.
We strongly recommend booking a hotel or apartment around Durrës Beach, close to the main Afro Escape event area.

Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality and country of residence. Many UK residents can travel to Albania without a visa, but you should always check the latest official entry requirements before travelling.

I have not received my ticket. What should I do?
First, check your email inbox, spam and junk folders.
Make sure you are checking the email address used during checkout. If you still cannot find your ticket, contact the official Afro Escape support team with your full name, email address and order number.
Can I resell or transfer my ticket privately?
You should not sell or transfer a ticket privately without informing Afro Escape.
All ticket transfers must be completed through the official Afro Escape team and will be subject to a £20 administration fee.
Tickets remain connected to the registered ticket holder until the transfer has been officially approved and the ticket details have been updated. The name on the ticket must match the guest’s valid photographic identification. Entry may be refused if the names do not match.
Buying a ticket from an unofficial person or website may result in the ticket being rejected if the transfer has not been completed correctly.
Afro Escape is not responsible for money paid to unofficial sellers or for tickets purchased through unauthorised sources.
When will I receive my ticket?
Your ticket will be sent automatically to the email address you used during checkout immediately after your order has been successfully placed.
If you do not receive your ticket within a few minutes, please check your spam or junk folder first.
If you still cannot find it, please contact us via WhatsApp or email, and our team will resend your ticket as soon as possible.
This is very rare, but we're always happy to help if it happens.
