Afro Escape – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Afro Escape.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all tickets, hotel packages, table bookings, website use and attendance at any Afro Escape event. By purchasing a ticket, hotel package, table package or attending any Afro Escape event, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Afro Escape

Afro Escape is a multi-day travel and entertainment experience held in Albania, featuring themed parties, beach events, pool parties and other official activities across selected venues.

2. Age Requirement

All Afro Escape events are strictly 18+.

A valid government-issued photo ID may be requested upon entry.

Anyone unable to provide valid identification may be refused entry without refund.

3. Tickets

All tickets are issued electronically and remain the property of Afro Escape until admission.

Each ticket contains a unique QR code.

Tickets may only be scanned once for each event they are valid for.

Duplicate or copied tickets will be refused entry.

4. Refund Policy

All ticket sales are final.

All event tickets are strictly non-refundable.

No refunds will be issued for:

  • Change of mind

  • Illness or injury

  • Flight cancellations

  • Missed flights

  • Visa refusal

  • Travel disruption

  • Personal circumstances

  • Work commitments

  • Weather

  • Failure to attend

  • Late arrival

  • Removal from the event due to misconduct

If you choose to pay using Klarna, PayPal instalments or any other payment provider, your agreement remains with that provider. Your payment obligations continue regardless of whether you attend the event.

5. Hotel Packages

Hotel & Event Ticket packages are also strictly non-refundable.

Once booked, hotel rooms are reserved specifically for your stay and cannot be cancelled or refunded.

This applies regardless of:

  • Flight delays

  • Flight cancellations

  • Visa issues

  • Illness

  • Personal circumstances

  • Travel restrictions

  • Failure to travel

If a guest is unable to attend, any transfer is subject to Afro Escape's approval and hotel availability.

6. Ticket Transfers

Where ticket transfers are permitted, they must be completed through Afro Escape before the published deadline.

Private sales without notifying Afro Escape are made entirely at the buyer's and seller's own risk.

Afro Escape reserves the right to refuse entry where ticket ownership cannot be verified.

7. Event Changes

Afro Escape reserves the right to change:

  • Event venues

  • Event times

  • DJs

  • Hosts

  • Entertainment

  • Activities

  • Running order

  • Event schedule

where necessary due to operational, safety, weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

Such changes do not entitle ticket holders to a refund.

8. Cancellation of Events

If an event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, government restrictions, public safety concerns, natural disasters or force majeure, Afro Escape shall not be liable for any travel, accommodation or other expenses incurred by guests.

9. Travel Responsibilities

Guests are solely responsible for arranging:

  • Flights

  • Passports

  • Visas

  • Accommodation (unless included in a hotel package)

  • Airport transfers

  • Local transport

  • Health requirements

  • Entry requirements

Visa requirements differ depending on nationality and may change without notice.

It is the guest's responsibility to ensure they are legally permitted to travel.

Afro Escape accepts no responsibility for denied boarding, refused visas, immigration decisions or entry restrictions.

10. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that every guest purchases comprehensive travel insurance before travelling.

Your insurance should ideally cover:

  • Medical expenses

  • Trip cancellation

  • Flight disruption

  • Lost baggage

  • Personal belongings

  • Personal liability

Afro Escape does not provide travel insurance and accepts no responsibility for losses that would normally be covered by insurance.

11. Health & Medical

Guests attend all events at their own risk.

You are responsible for ensuring you are medically fit to travel and attend the event.

Afro Escape accepts no liability for illness, injury or medical emergencies occurring during your trip.

12. Personal Property

All personal belongings remain entirely at the owner's risk.

Afro Escape accepts no responsibility whatsoever for:

  • Lost property

  • Stolen property

  • Damaged belongings

  • Cash

  • Jewellery

  • Phones

  • Passports

  • Travel documents

  • Clothing

  • Bags

  • Luggage

  • Vehicles

Please look after your belongings at all times.

Any lost property recovered by Afro Escape may be retained for a limited period before being disposed of where permitted by law.

13. Venue Liability

Official Afro Escape events are hosted at third-party venues.

Each venue is responsible for its own premises, health & safety procedures, security arrangements and alcohol licensing.

Afro Escape shall not be responsible for any act, omission, accident or incident occurring as a result of the operation of any third-party venue.

14. Guest Conduct

All guests are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully.

Afro Escape reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any person without refund if they:

  • Behave aggressively

  • Cause disruption

  • Are excessively intoxicated

  • Use illegal substances

  • Damage property

  • Threaten staff or guests

  • Fail to follow venue security instructions

  • Commit criminal or anti-social behaviour

15. Alcohol & Illegal Drugs

Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.

Anyone found in possession of illegal substances may be refused entry or removed immediately.

Alcohol may only be consumed in accordance with local laws and venue licensing conditions.

16. Photography & Videography

Photography, filming and audio recording will take place throughout Afro Escape.

By attending Afro Escape you acknowledge and agree that your image, voice or likeness may appear in:

  • Photographs

  • Promotional videos

  • Social media content

  • Advertising campaigns

  • Printed marketing

  • Future event promotions

  • Website content

  • Press coverage

  • Television or online broadcasts

You grant Afro Escape, its partners and authorised media teams a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use this content without compensation or further approval.

If you do not wish to appear in close-up promotional content, please notify our media team where reasonably possible. While we will endeavour to accommodate requests, this cannot be guaranteed in public event environments.

17. Intellectual Property

The Afro Escape name, logo, branding, artwork, promotional materials and website content remain the intellectual property of Afro Escape.

No content may be copied, reproduced or commercially used without written permission.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Afro Escape, its directors, employees, contractors, partners and representatives shall not be liable for:

  • Personal injury

  • Death (except where liability cannot legally be excluded)

  • Property damage

  • Theft

  • Financial loss

  • Missed flights

  • Missed connections

  • Lost earnings

  • Accommodation issues

  • Third-party actions

  • Transport delays

  • Venue decisions

  • Force majeure events

  • Any indirect or consequential losses

Attendance at Afro Escape is entirely at the guest's own risk.

19. Force Majeure

Afro Escape shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellations or changes caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Extreme weather

  • Flooding

  • Fire

  • Pandemic

  • Government restrictions

  • Civil unrest

  • Terrorism

  • War

  • Strikes

  • Transportation disruption

  • Natural disasters

20. Data Protection

We collect personal information solely for the purpose of processing bookings, communicating event information and improving our services.

Your information may be shared with trusted service providers where necessary to fulfil your booking, including ticketing, payment processing and hotel partners.

We do not sell your personal information.

21. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

22. Acceptance

By purchasing a ticket, hotel package or attending Afro Escape, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions in full.

If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, you should not purchase tickets or attend the event.
